Amin is a partner in Atlaschi + Hatfield Architects, Inc. (http://www.aha-inc.com), an architectural/ interiors practice located in Los Angeles, California where he lives with his wife, Farimah and their only child, Omeed.

A sucker for a "good joke" since the day he started talking, he has amassed an enormous library of jokes, and humorous insights both in Farsi as well as English. Unfortunately, he does not seem to remember any of its content when cornered for a telling a joke in a party.

Amin's architectural practice is focused around high-end specialty retail and commercial work. His client list includes names such as Giorgio Armani (No Joke), Valentino (I swear), Dolce & Gabbana (That's right), United Colors of Benetton (Italians like us) and Morgan Paris (So do some French). His work has been featured in design and fashion trade publications around the world. His passions in life also include soccer, cheap Mexican food, German beer and "feeling the urgency" to watch his diet. However, he gauges his true success in the number and quality of humorous e-mails that pass along his way by friends and family members around the globe on the daily basis.
